Dear Lord, Please help us to reach out with our hearts, when we can’t touch with our hands. Help us to be socially connected, when we have to be socially distant. Help us to love as perfectly as we can, knowing that perfect love casts out all fear. Please pray for the doctors, nurses, police and emergency personnel who are on the front lines. We pray for all affected all around the world. We pray for safety, for health, for wholeness. Amen

DSCS Distance Learning: Together We Can Do This!
We are Here For You!
Please know that DSCS is doing everything we can to make the switch to distance learning. We are hoping that this website format will help keep everything in one place. Information for each grade will be posted weekly. You can click on your child’s grade level and then you will be taken to a separate page. There you will find the information you need for the week. Please note that 4th-8th grade teachers will still be communicating with those students using the Google Classroom platform.
We will use Fridays as a “Specials Day” & Teacher Support Day. That means that by next week all of our teachers will be planning instruction and activities for Monday-Thursday. Teachers will keep Friday clear so that our DSCS students can focus on Gym, Art, Music & Spanish. Teachers will also use Friday to catch-up with students who need extra support or who are struggling to get their work turned in. This will also allow our teachers to have time to assess student work and to give effective feedback.
